Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to Stormdev. This policy explains how data is collected, used, and protected across this website, Shopify apps, contact flows, and website analytics.
Information we collect
We may process contact and project information you submit, basic store information, app usage data, and customer or catalog data required for app functionality. This website also uses Google Analytics 4. When a page loads, Google Analytics may set identifiers in cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> and process the page URL, referrer, approximate location, browser, device, language, and interaction data. Google uses the IP address to derive location information and states that it is not logged or stored by Google Analytics.
How we use information
Data is used to operate the website and apps, answer inquiries, provide support, improve features, understand traffic sources and popular pages, measure successful contact requests, and comply with legal obligations. For website analytics, Stormdev relies on its legitimate interest in understanding and improving its website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled, and contact-form content is not sent to Google Analytics.
Retention and sharing
Data is retained only as long as needed and is never sold. Analytics data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and may be transferred to Google entities and systems outside the EEA, including the United States, using applicable transfer safeguards. GA4 event-level data is configured for two months of retention; Google Analytics cookies may remain for up to two years unless deleted earlier through browser settings. Other data may be shared only with service providers needed to operate the service under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
Security and rights
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used. You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection by contacting the privacy address below, and you may complain to your data-protection authority. Google Analytics starts automatically when a public page loads. You can block or delete analytics cookies through your browser, tracking-protection software, or Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on; blocking analytics does not prevent use of this website.
